Technical Assignment #1

The Emory Psychology Building is a new building located at Emory University's Atlanta, Ga campus. This technical assignment takes an in depth look into the existing construction conditions and scope of work for the building.

The areas of focus include schedule, building systems, cost and cost evaluation, existing site, local conditions, owner expectations, contracts and delivery system, and staffing of the construction manager.

 

 

Technical Assigment #2

This section of the thesis project analyzes key features of the Emory Psychology Building that affect project execution. The contents include a detailed project schedule, three site layout plans, a detailed structural systems estimate, general conditions estimate, as well as a summary of critical industry issues discussed at the 17th annual PACE Roundtable event.

 

 

Technical Assignment #3

This technical assignment examines that the Emory Psychology Building has faced during construction. It also looks at opportunities for schedule acceleration and the process of value engineering that was completed by Holder Construction and Emory University. The last part of the assignment provides several ideas for technical analysis of the Psychology Building.
